Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ion Golban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Rauma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rauma drops his shoulder and cracks Golban with a huge uppercut! Golban goes down! Can Rauma finish him?

Golban is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rauma throws a big right hand that misses.
Oh Golban is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rauma postures up in Golban's guard and throws a big left but Golban blocks it.
Golban seems to have got his legs back now.

Rauma throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Golban works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Golban keeping moving, preventing Rauma from controlling successfully.

Rauma gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Golban walks straight into a right hand from Rauma - that's dropped him! Rauma jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Golban from any more punishment! Golban complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
