Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riaan Geingob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geingob has chosen Oficina G3 - Meus Proprios Meios as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright wants to clinch
and Geingob counters with an outside leg kick.
Geingob fails to land with a series of punches.
Geingob cracks Wright with a right hand to the side of the head.

Geingob connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wright. Wright circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Nate Wright has been cut.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wright swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Geingob is now in Wright's guard. A big mistake from Wright there, giving up the dominant position!
Geingob must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Geingob lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
