Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Eastman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Maria. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le throws a head kick that misses.
Le throws a leg kick but Eastman moved away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Le.
James Eastman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Le is looking to score with low kicks.
Eastman shoots in but Le avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Eastman closes the distance and clinches up with Le, looking for a takedown. Eastman pushes Le against the cage but Le circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Le buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Eastman moves out of range as Le strikes.

Eastman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eastman lands in his opponent's guard.

Le manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Eastman manages to get himself to full guard.
Le is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Eastman is trying to control the position but Le postures up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters are battling for position here. Eastman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Eastman has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Le has passed into side control.
Le is looking to take a break and control but Eastman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Eastman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Eastman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Le has given up his back. Will we see Eastman going for some submissions?

You can see the frustration on Le's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Eastman looking to break Le's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Le remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Eastman will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Eastman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Le knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
