Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCool kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'm Shipping Up to Boston. Richard Nixon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon closes the distance but McCool moves to the side
and McCool counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McCool wants to free his trapped foot but Nixon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
McCool moves into full mount! Nixon won't be happy about that!
Nixon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
McCool lands a big elbow.
Nixon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nixon is trying desperately to improve position.
Nixon is trying to stand up.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McCool cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McCool is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nixon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCool lands a big shot to the head and Nixon winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Peter McCool!
