PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pena Jytky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Frog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar Frog told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frog misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Frog fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jytky sprawls well initially but Frog persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Frog throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jytky is looking for a sweep. Frog is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Frog lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jytky scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Frog manages to mount him!
Frog lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Frog fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Frog cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jytky on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jytky tries to get out of the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frog is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jytky has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jytky is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frog landing strikes from the mount and Jytky is in trouble!
Frog tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Frog postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jytky looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jytky is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Frog connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jytky tries to hold on but Frog pushes him away.
The referee warns Jytky that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jytky is rocked!
A big strike lands for Frog! That's really hurt Jytky and he's turned his back - Frog keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Frog jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
