Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santeri Reijasalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Go DJ by Lil Wayne. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reijasalo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Reijasalo.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reijasalo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Reijasalo wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reijasalo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jones is nestled in close to Reijasalo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
