Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between He Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by He-Man theme song. The crowd seem to be enjoying Grace's choice of entrance music: Doggystyle. He Man has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws an off balance right hand
and Grace counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Grace trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Man has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Grace throwing strikes from guard but Man blocks nicely.
Grace missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Man tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Man is working hard here to advance position.

Graceis looking to pass into half guard but Man pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Man is in guard.

Grace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grace wants to get back to his feet but Man is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Man has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Max Grace has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that He Man will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Man.

Man scores with a hook to the body. Grace takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Grace gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Man drops back looking for a leg! Grace is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grace manages to kick Man off! Man jumps back into Grace's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Man is looking to work some ground and pound but Grace has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man wants to control from the top but Grace keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grace avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Man pushes Grace up against the cage in a clinch.
Man prevents the takedown attempt.
Man lands a right hand.
Grace takes a shot to the head.
Man has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grace regains guard immediately.
Man postures up in Grace's guard and throws a big left but Grace blocks it.

Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Grace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grace can do anything to dispel that myth.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. He Man wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Man throws a jab but it's blocked by Grace.
Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Man is looking to clinch but Grace is avoiding it.
Grace shoots and misses
and Man cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Man throws out a loose jab but Grace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Grace tries for a takedown but Man circles away easily
and Man counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Man lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Grace at a distance.
Grace takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Nice defenses there by Grace.
Man is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Man lands a jab.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch but Grace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Man loads up on a big right hand but Grace slips the punch.

Grace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Grace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Man holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Grace tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
