Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeus Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeus Machine acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Winters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeus Machine!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters misses with an uppercut
and Machine counters with a big head kick but Winters shrugs it off.
Winters has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Machine.

Winters closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Machine did well to prevent Winters getting side control.
Machine is trying to stand back up but Winters is controlling him
Machine moves into full guard.
Winters tries to free his leg and advance position but Machine is retaining full guard.
Winters trying to control the position from guard on top but Machine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Winters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Machine seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Machine is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Winters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Machine is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Machine is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Winters defends well.
Machine pulls Winters in to control the position.
Machine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Machine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Machine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Winters can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Machine looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Winters passes into side control.
Machine tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Machine on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Winters wants to control but Machine is keeping him busy.

Winters closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Machine is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Winters pulls his head out easily.
Machine is looking for a sweep. Winters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Winters is keen to just control but Machine is a slippery customer.

Winters perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Winters blocks the strikes from Machine.
Winters is thwarting Machine's attempts to control the position.
Machine tries to kick Winters off but Winters keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Machine is breathing heavily.
Machine trying to control but Winters postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Machine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Zeus Machine has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Winters dives in and scores a takedown into Machine's guard.

Machine can't escape the position.
Machine is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Winters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Machine is looking to escape.
Machine can't escape the position.

Winters working for a submission but Machine is keeping him at bay.
Machine tries to hold on but Winters postures up.

Machine wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Winters is trying to stick to Machine's back but Machine is turning into Winters. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Winters's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Machine.

Machine is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Winters is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Winters has escaped and now he's on top!
Machine is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Machine pulls Winters in close to prevent any damage.

Let's hope that Machine has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Winters content to stall in guard here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Zeus Machine hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Machine scores with a kick to the midsection.
Machine lets loose with a powerful body kick. Winters will feel that in the morning.

Winters swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Machine counters with a nice body kick.
Machine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Winters on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Winters gets caught napping as Machine dives in and scores a takedown. Winters manages to retain guard.
Winters looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Machine working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Machine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Machine landing with the ground and pound.
Machine in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zeus Machine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Machine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
