Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaas misses with a hook. Ali ducked under it nicely.
Blaas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ali gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Blaas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Blaas forces Ali back against the cage and clinches.
Blaas working hard to break the clinch.
Blaas gets underhooks to prevent Ali's takedown attempt.
Ali blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Ali's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blaas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ali scrambles back to his feet.
Blaas cracks Ali with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Blaas darts in and clinches Ali up against the cage.

Blaas wants to get back to striking at distance but Ali won't allow it.
Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Blaas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Blaas misses with the combination.
Blaas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Blaas misses with an uppercut.
Ali needs to keep his hands up - Blaas had a free shot at his head there.
Blaas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ali blocks the elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Blaas throws an elbow but misses.
Blaas wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ali goes for a takedown attempt but Blaas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Ali or perhaps it was just good defense by Blaas which made him look bad.
Ali looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blaas is fending him off so far but Ali persists. Nope, Blaas circles away and we're back to standing.
Ali will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ali has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blaas.

Blaas throws the left hand but Ali avoids the punch easily.
Blaas tries to bum rush Ali with a series of wild strikes but Ali uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ali is looking for a sweep. Blaas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali wants to control but Blaas is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Helio Ali wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ali dodges the punch combination from Blaas.
Blaas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ali did well to prevent Blaas getting side control.
Ali has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blaas is working away from the top position though.
Blaas not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ali is looking to improve his position.

Blaas looks to land a strike but Ali avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Ali is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ali drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ali wants to control but Blaas is keeping him busy.
Ali cracks Blaas with a big elbow.
Ali is looking to take a break and control but Blaas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Blaas prevents Ali from moving into mount.

Ali tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ali has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ali is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blaas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Blaas wants to control but Ali postures up.
Ali wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blaas keeps working.
Blaas is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

You can see the frustration on Blaas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
