Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buba Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sakuragi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sakuragi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sakuragi lands with an uppercut that bounces Sparks off the cage and back into rage.
Sparks misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Sakuragi to counter with a crisp jab.
Sakuragi connects with a nice looking jab.
Sparks walks into a jab.
Sakuragi jabs at Sparks's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sakuragi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sparks could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sakuragi cracks Sparks with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sparks tries for a takedown but Sakuragi circles away easily
and Sakuragi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buba Sparks. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sparks misses with a takedown attempt
and Sakuragi counters with a nice uppercut.
Sakuragi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sakuragi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sparks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sakuragi counters with a nice body shot.
Sparks is breathing heavily.
Sparks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sakuragi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sakuragi lands with a hook. Sparks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sparks with a lazy takedown attempt

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sakuragi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sakuragi scores with a hook to the body. Sparks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Sparks needs to keep his hands up - Sakuragi had a free shot at his head there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sakuragi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sakuragi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sakuragi is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sakuragi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sakuragi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sparks on the side of the head.
Sparks takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sparks is rocked!
Sakuragi throws a monster overhand right that drops Sparks! Sakuragi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hanamichi Sakuragi!
