The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broffy dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Broffy lands an overhand right.

Broffy rushes Lewis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis misses with a punch to the body.
Lewis is struggling to control the position.
Broffy can't break the clinch.
Lewis tries to break free but Broffy pushes him back against the cage.

Broffy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lewis throws a jab when Broffy was well out of range.
Lewis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Broffy.
Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Broffy circles away quickly and effectively.

Broffy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Broffy throws a punch but it's blocked by Lewis.

Lewis pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Broffy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lewis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Broffy's elbow.

Lewis fails to pull guard.
Lewis misses with a punch to the body.

Broffy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Broffy has managed to clinch.

Broffy tries to break free but Lewis pushes him back against the cage.

and Lewis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Broffy!
Broffy tries to buck Lewis off but he can't manage it.

Lewis wants to control the pace but Broffy is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Broffy tries to buck Lewis off but he can't manage it.

Lewis cracks Broffy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lewis throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Broffy because Lewis loaded up on that one.
Broffy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lewis looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Lewis looking for a guillotine from mount but Broffy is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lewis lands a nice shot to the head.
Broffy is trying to stand up.
Broffy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewis on the ground.
Lewis sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Lewis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Broffy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lewis controlling the pace for now.
Lewis throwing strikes here but Broffy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Broffy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Broffy is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Lewis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lewis postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Broffy badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lewis around the waist but Lewis pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lewis is the winner by TKO! Lewis jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
