Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Alucard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hazlehurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazlehurst is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Queen - The Show Must Go On. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hazlehurst moves into the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Alucard scores with a nice short uppercut.

Alucard lands an elbow that stopped Hazlehurst in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Dan Hazlehurst has been cut.
Hazlehurst tries to break free but Alucard pushes him back against the cage.

Alucard has hold of one of Hazlehurst's legs. Hazlehurst is fighting the takedown attempt but Alucard gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Alucard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Alucard postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Alucard prevents Hazlehurst from getting back to his feet.
Alucard connects with a couple of short punches.

The cut above Dan Hazlehurst's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Alucard drops back looking for a leg! Hazlehurst is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hazlehurst manages to kick Alucard off! Alucard jumps back into Hazlehurst's guard.

Hazlehurst can't keep his opponent in guard - Alucard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Alucard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dan Hazlehurst's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
