PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juana Play (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Dashing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Play comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne ft Chamillionaire - Rockstar. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steven Dashing!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Play fails with the takedown
and Dashing counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Play drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A lazy left from Dashing finds it's target.
Play shoots and misses
letting Dashing counter with a right hand.
Play with a poor takedown
and Dashing counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juana Play. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Play ducks right into an uppercut from Dashing.
Play throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Play.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Play throws an elbow but Dashing slips to the side and avoids it well.
Dashing is not content to let Play control the position.
Play is really struggling to control Dashing but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Play decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dashing to his feet.
Dashing throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Play on the side of the head.
Dashing changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Play with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dashing to score with a decent uppercut.
Play fails with the takedown
letting Dashing counter with a right hand.
Dashing misses with a wild body shot.
Play has his takedown stuffed
and Dashing counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Play gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dashing counters with a three punch combo that has Play backing up. Play nods at Dashing to acknowledge the strikes.
Dashing is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dashing lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dashing misses with an attempted mid kick.

Play slips a jab and a cross from Dashing.
A lazy body kick from Play
and Dashing counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dashing lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Play doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dashing connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Play is breathing heavily.
Dashing jabs Play right on the nose. Play blinks but takes it well.
Play shoots and misses
and Dashing counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Play gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dashing gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Play is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
