The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailo closes the distance but Velazquez moves to the side
and Velazquez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sailo shoots in for a double leg but Velazquez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shane Velazquez dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sailo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sailo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sailo circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Velazquez. Sailo falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Velazquez!
