Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Antelz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antelz comes into the arena with Godsmack - Speak blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antelz closes the distance looking to clinch

and Richards counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Antelz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Richards stopping the sweep attempt from Antelz.

Antelz pushes Richards off and gets back to his feet.

Richards clinches up against the cage.
Antelz tries for a takedown but Richards manages to get underhooks.

Richards decides to pull guard.
Antelz wants to pass the guard but Richards is keeping the position.

Richards wants to sweep here but Antelz controlling him for the moment.
Richards will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Antelz won't allow Richards to sweep him here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Antelz passes easily into side control. Nice work.
A lull in the action here as Antelz stalls from top position.
Antelz cracks Richards with a big elbow.

Richards is trying to get back to half guard.
Antelz lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Richards down.

Antelz cracks Richards with a big right hand but Richards just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Richards takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Antelz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Richards is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Antelz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Richards is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Antelz yanks on the arm and Richards is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Antelz.
