The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericcsson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Avitan circles away.
Ericcsson closes the distance and clinches up with Avitan, looking for a takedown. Ericcsson pushes Avitan against the cage but Avitan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Avitan scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Jimmy Ericcsson has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Avitan. No joy for Ericcsson on that attempt.
Yossi Avitan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Ericcsson.
Ericcsson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ericcsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Avitan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ericcsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ericcsson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Avitan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Avitan.
Avitan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ericcsson throws a leg kick
and Avitan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Avitan drops Ericcsson with a naaaaasty hook - Ericcsson is in real trouble here! Avitan dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
