Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Handcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AFI - Totalimmortal. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handcock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Handcock tries to clinch but Nelson moves away

and Nelson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Handcock's guard now.
Nelson throws a strike but Handcock rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Nelson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nelson wants to sweep here but Handcock controlling him for the moment.

Nelson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Handcock is surviving well by controlling Nelson's body position as best he can.

Nelson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Handcock turns into him and now he's in Nelson's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Handcock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Handcock has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nelson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Handcock's guard.

Nelson is stalling here. Handcock is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nelson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Handcock has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Nelson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nelson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jimmy Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Handcock tries to clinch up

and Nelson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Handcock is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Nelson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nelson continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Handcock prevents the takedown attempt.
Nelson jumps guard but Handcock stands there with Nelson around his waist. Nelson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
