Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Lashley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Castle!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle misses with the combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Castle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lashley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Castle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lashley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lashley looking to pass the guard.
Castle wants to stand and escape but Lashley is having none of it.
Lashley wants to pass the guard but Castle is keeping the position.
Castle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lashley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Castle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lashley is controlling him.
Lashley is stalling in the full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bobby Lashley.
Lashley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Castle. No joy for Lashley on that attempt.
Castle slaps away a takedown attempt from Lashley, before circling back to the center of the mat.

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.

Castle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Castle cracks Lashley with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Castle scores with a decent looking hook.

Lashley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lashley wants to control but Castle is keeping him busy.
Lashley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lashley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lashley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bobby Lashley.

Castle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lashley to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lashley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lashley wants to control from the top but Castle keeps moving.
Lashley looking to sit in guard and control but Castle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Castle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lashley seems keen to control Castle's posture.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bobby Lashley.

Castle moves into range and clinches up with Lashley.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Castle.


Bobby Lashley's cut is getting worse.
Lashley tries for a takedown but Castle manages to get underhooks.
Castle lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lashley backwards.

Lashley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Castle regains guard.
Lashley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Castle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Castle is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lashley postures up.
Lashley trying to control the position from guard on top but Castle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lashley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lashley fails with a takedown attempt.
Lashley closes the distance and clinches up with Castle, looking for a takedown. Lashley pushes Castle against the cage but Castle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Castle works Lashley's body with a nice hook.
Lashley is breathing heavily.

Castle drops Lashley with a beautiful combination! Lashley stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Castle is looking for the KO!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Castle forces Lashley back against the cage and clinches.
Nice body punch from Castle.

Castle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lashley shoots in for a takedown but Castle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Castle cracks Lashley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Castle has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lashley to stand back up!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Castle dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bobby Lashley's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Castle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lashley paws at him with a jab and circles away.


Bobby Lashley's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Johnny Castle seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Castle pushes Lashley up against the cage in a clinch.
Castle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.


Jeez, Bobby Lashley's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Castle scores with an uppercut up the middle.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Lashley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johnny Castle!
