The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montano misses with a combination
and Peters counters with a left to the body.
Montano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peters is fending him off so far but Montano persists. Nope, Peters circles away and we're back to standing.
Montano gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Peters counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Peters lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Montano backs up against the cage.

It looks like Marcus Montano has been cut.

Peters forces Montano back against the cage and clinches.
Peters is trying to break free.
Peters avoiding damage.

Peters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Montano throws a combination that misses
and Peters counters with a left and a right that stings Montano.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peters throws a right hand that Montano ducks under and follows up with a left that Montano also avoids with ease.
Peters misses with a series of wild punches.
Peters misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peters throws a nice looking combination but Montano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Montano has his takedown stuffed
and Peters counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Montano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Montano tries to clinch up
and Peters counters with a two punch combo.
Montano is breathing heavily.
Montano misses with a body punch
and Peters counters with a three punch combo that has Montano backing up. Montano nods at Peters to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Peters looks to land a combination but Montano avoids it well.
A left and a right from Peters both land. Nice combination.
Mason Peters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Peters lands a jab-cross combination.

Oooooh!!! Peters has knocked Montano down with a huge combo! Peters steps away and waves a wobbly Montano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Montano is rocked!
Peters misses with the combination.

Peters lands a left and a right that send Montano crashing to the mat, dazed. Peters thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Montano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Marcus Montano's cut is getting worse.
Peters lands with a big right hook that stumbles Montano - he's out on his feet here! Peters follows up with another monster hook that separates Montano from consciousness! Montano falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Peters stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
