The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volchenkov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Volchenkov misses with a series of wild punches.
Volchenkov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Bob Big has been cut.
A punch combination from Volchenkov misses.
Volchenkov throws a leg kick but Big moved away.
Volchenkov tries to close the distance and clinch but Big swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good work by Big as he checks the leg kick.
Volchenkov throws a head kick that misses.
Volchenkov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Volchenkov wants to clinch.
Volchenkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Volchenkov misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Big tries to clinch but Volchenkov is having none of it.
Volchenkov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Volchenkov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Big tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice leg kick lands there from Volchenkov.
Big looks gassed!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Big takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Big on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Volchenkov. Volchenkov obviously looking to wear him down.
Big's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Volchenkov throws a leg kick which misses Big's front leg but catches the back leg as Big tries to avoid it.
Volchenkov lands a big head kick that sends Big tumbling to the mat! Volchenkov takes a step backwards and waves Big back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Volchenkov walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Big drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Volchenkov swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Big's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Volchenkov!
