Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Grady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Buss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grady comes to the cage accompanied by Hollow Points At Ya Face . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Grady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Buss!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Buss or perhaps it was just good defense by Grady which made him look bad.

Grady shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Grady showed some decent athleticism there.
Grady is pressing down on Buss's thigh, looking to free his foot. Buss is holding on for now.
Buss wants to get back to his feet.
Grady seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Buss does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Buss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Buss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grady to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Buss utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

and Grady counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Grady.
Buss tries to land knees in the clinch but Grady avoids the damage to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Buss creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Buss has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grady regains guard immediately.
Buss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grady. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buss wants to stand but Grady has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Buss drops back looking for a leg! Grady is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grady manages to kick Buss off! Buss jumps back into Grady's guard.

Buss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grady has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buss has managed to get both his arms back between Grady's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that James Grady will probably get the nod.
