The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brothers gets a double leg takedown into Boomhower's guard.

Brothers drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Boomhower dives on top into guard.
Boomhower pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brothers is keeping the position for now.

Boomhower gets to his feet. Brothers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Boomhower lands with a straight right. Brothers didn't see that one coming.
Brothers takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Boomhower fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Brothers shoots in for a double leg but Boomhower sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boomhower lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Brothers looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brothers walks into a left hand.
Brothers tries to move into range but Boomhower moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Boomhower dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Boomhower drops Brothers with a beautiful combination! Brothers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Boomhower is looking for the KO!

Brothers is rocked!

It looks like Mario Brothers has been cut.
Boomhower throws an uppercut from hell that sends Brothers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Boomhower stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
