Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsu Bodashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Korn!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korn misses with a takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bodashi tries to clinch

and Korn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bodashi!
Korn landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bodashi tries to hold on but Korn pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korn connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Korn goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bodashi turns into him and now he's in Korn's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Korn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bodashi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Korn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bodashi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bodashi wants to control from the top but Korn keeps moving.

Bodashi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bodashi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Korn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bodashi has managed to get both his arms back between Korn's legs - danger averted.

Bodashi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Korn is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bodashi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Korn's body to avoid the submission. Korn has instead reached around Bodashi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Korn arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Daniel Korn!
