Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd comes to the cage accompanied by Blowin Swishers. Royce Gracie has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard.

Kidd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Kidd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kidd cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kidd seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Kidd tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control.

Kidd is rocked!
Gracie postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kidd badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Gracie around the waist but Gracie pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Gracie is the winner by TKO! Gracie jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
