And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Svenn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Svenn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Robertson.
Robertson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Svenn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robertson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Robertson, as that shot connected.

Robertson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Svenn.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Robertson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Svenn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Brian Robertson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robertson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
