Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jukkis Karvakorva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karvakorva comes into the arena with Julma-Henri - Tarhan Täti blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Karvakorva misses

and Angle counters with a shoot takedown. Karvakorva fights it but they end up in guard.
Angle won't allow Karvakorva to sweep him here.
Angle wants to control from the top but Karvakorva keeps moving.
Karvakorva is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Angle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Karvakorva's guard.

Angle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Karvakorva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Angle has Karvakorva in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Angle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Karvakorva is aware though and is defending well.

Angle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karvakorva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Angle is looking to sinch up a triangle. Karvakorva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Angle's body to avoid the submission. Angle has instead reached around Karvakorva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Angle arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
