Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judas Priest - Painkiller. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Gomi misses
and Thomas counters with a one-two to the body.

and Thomas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gomi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Thomas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsatsu Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tsatsu Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Thomas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Thomas lands a left and a right that send Gomi crashing to the mat, dazed. Thomas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Tsatsu Gomi has been cut.
Thomas is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas fakes the body blow, causing Gomi to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gomi goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
