And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Beane!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murk drives through and clinches with Beane against the ropes.

Murk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beane circles away quickly and effectively.

Murk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beane is trying to defend but Murk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Murk seems to be working for a kimura but Beane defends the submission attempt.

Beane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Murk is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beane is aware though and is defending well.

Murk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
