Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Steggman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Assuerio Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steggman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanderson pinned against the cage. Sanderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Steggman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanderson but Sanderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sanderson looks to land a right hand but Steggman moved out of range.
Sanderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Steggman circles away.

and Steggman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanderson's guard now.
Steggman wants to control from the top but Sanderson keeps moving.

Steggman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steggman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sanderson wants to sweep but no luck.

Steggman is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Sanderson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Steggman has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Sanderson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Steggman doesn't care though - he's delighted!
