Kirk comes to the cage accompanied by That Heavenly Glory. Slim has chosen Jammin- Bob Marley as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barbados Slim has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slim scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kirk is trying to control Slim's posture but Slim avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kirk keeps working.
Slim tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kirk's legs.
Slim in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Kirk takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Slim has hold of Kirk's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kirk tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Slim cranks the arm and Kirk screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kirk, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
