The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fonglebang throws a hook but Noel blocks it.
Noel takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Noel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Noel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Noel shoots in looking for a takedown. Fonglebang tries to sprawl out of it but Noel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fonglebang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Noel shoots in and drives through. Fonglebang sprawls well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Noel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fonglebang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fonglebang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Noel backs up against the cage.
Noel fails with the takedown
letting Fonglebang counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Noel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Noel drops his hands momentarily and Fonglebang takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Fonglebang counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Noel! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Fonglebang!
