Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pollito Oviedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hudson Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oviedo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tony Presidio. Hudson Oliveira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oviedo tries for a takedown but Oliveira circles away easily

so Oliveira counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Oviedo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Oliveira not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Oviedo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hudson Oliveira was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Oviedo closes the distance but Oliveira moves to the side

and Oliveira counters with a shoot takedown. Oviedo fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oliveira stays in close to Oviedo's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oviedo is wriggling around but Oliveira manages to pass to half guard.

Oliveira prevents Oviedo from standing back up.

Oliveira stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Oviedo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Oliveira has picked Oviedo up and slammed him! Oviedo can't keep hold of the triangle and Oliveira manages to pass to side control!
Oviedo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Oliveira has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Oliveira is standing up over Oviedo. Oviedo looks to escape but Oliveira dives into side control.

Oliveira is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Oviedo is trying to escape and Oliveira transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Oviedo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Oliveira! Very nice indeed!
