Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castilano misses with an uppercut
and Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones lands an elbow that stopped Castilano in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Luke Castilano has been cut.
Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Castilano blocks it with crossed arms.
Jones lands a knee to the head.
Castilano takes an elbow to the forehead.
Castilano tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Castilano drops back down to his feet.

Castilano drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Doctor Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Castilano.
Castilano looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Castilano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.

Castilano misses with an uppercut
and Jones counters with a nice low kick that buckles Castilano's knee momentarily.
Castilano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jones scores with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That has opened up Luke Castilano's cut even more.

Jones moves into range and clinches up with Castilano.
Jones lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Castilano jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Castilano gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Luke Castilano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castilano misses with a hook
and Jones counters with a three punch combo that has Castilano backing up. Castilano nods at Jones to acknowledge the strikes.
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Castilano momentarily.
Castilano misses with a takedown attempt
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Castilano throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Castilano needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there.

and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Castilano looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones darts in and clinches Castilano up against the cage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Luke Castilano's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
