Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Galileo Galilei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nahka Vitonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galilei comes to the cage accompanied by Les Os. Vitonen has chosen Klamydia - Junttihinttirunkkari as his entrance music. Nahka Vitonen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nahka Vitonen!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitonen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Galilei.
Galilei changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vitonen tries to avoid it but Galilei manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vitonen to the ground. Vitonen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A shot to the body from Galilei misses
and Vitonen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Galilei thinking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Galilei.
Vitonen misses with an uppercut.
Galilei defending well as Vitonen loads up on a big left hand.
Sloppy strikes from Vitonen. Those never looked like landing.
Galileo Galilei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitonen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Vitonen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

so Galilei counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vitonen holds on and takes a little breather.
Galilei postures up in Vitonen's guard and throws a big left but Vitonen blocks it.
Galilei chips away with some ground and pound.
Galilei won't allow Vitonen to get back to his feet.

Galilei throws and elbow that misses. Vitonen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Galilei's guard. Nice move by Vitonen!
Galilei manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vitonen manages to get himself to full guard.

Vitonen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vitonen can't keep his opponent in guard - Galilei advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Galilei is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vitonen is just riding it out for now. Galilei eventually gives up the hold.
Vitonen is trying to control but can't.
Galilei tries to pass to full mount but Vitonen defends it.
Vitonen tries to roll over but Galilei keeps him under control.

Vitonen gets back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Galilei is pushing down on Vitonen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vitonen is fighting to maintain full guard but Galilei has managed to sneak the leg through.
Vitonen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vitonen.

Galilei decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Vitonen lands with a shot to the body.
Vitonen jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Vitonen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vitonen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Galilei's head.
It looks like Galileo Galilei has been cut.
Galilei scores with the left hand. Vitonen knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vitonen throws a right hand that Galilei ducks under and follows up with a left that Galilei also avoids with ease.
Galilei tries for a takedown but Vitonen circles away easily
and Vitonen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Galilei is breathing heavily.
Galilei has his takedown stuffed
and Vitonen counters with a straight right hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vitonen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vitonen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Galilei.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nahka Vitonen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Galileo Galilei's cut.
That's time! Galilei's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vitonen misses with a few strikes there.
Vitonen throws an overhand right that lands on Galilei's shoulder, as Galilei tries to avoid the shot.
Galilei shoots in for a takedown but Vitonen shows good takedown defense.

and Vitonen counters with a low kick, right behind Galilei 's knee.

and Vitonen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Galileo Galilei's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
