PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hidehiko Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cranium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto comes into the arena with Wage Slaves - All Shall Perish blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto throws a chopping leg kick but Cranium manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Yamamoto throws a head kick but Cranium moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yamamoto.
Cranium takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Yamamoto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Cranium looks gassed!

Yamamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice leg kick lands there from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Yamamoto throws a nice outside leg kick.
Yamamoto lands a nice looking kick to the body. Cranium takes a step back to recover.

Yamamoto fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Yamamoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yamamoto throws a leg kick which misses Cranium's front leg but catches the back leg as Cranium tries to avoid it.
Yamamoto scores with a kick to the body.
Yamamoto throws a sloppy head kick and Cranium moves out of range easily.
Yamamoto throws a front kick aimed at Cranium's knee but Cranium avoids it well.
Cranium shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yamamoto counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Cranium takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice leg kick lands there from Yamamoto.

Yamamoto keeps Cranium at a distance using the push kick.
Yamamoto lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yamamoto fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cranium is out of range.
Yamamoto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cranium. That did some damage!
Yamamoto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Yamamoto misses with a low kick.
Cranium shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamamoto sprawls well. He's pushed Cranium's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cranium has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Yamamoto.

Cranium thows a huge punch but Yamamoto dodges it nicely.
Yamamoto could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cranium is looking for a kimura but Yamamoto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cranium to get the leverage.

Cranium is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Yamamoto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cranium.

Cranium seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Yamamoto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
