Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Marcel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slaughter's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Crown - World Below. Marcel has chosen city of angels as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcel lands with a thumping leg kick.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Slaughter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

and Slaughter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slaughter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
