Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dermot Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Alice in Chains - Them Bones as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a nice body shot.
Gray throws an off balance right hand
and Jones counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gray is lucky that one didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice body kick there by Gray.
Gray misses with a hook
and Jones counters with a nice body shot.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab-cross combination lands for Jones and sends Gray crashing to the mat! Jones follows him down to the mat - Gray regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Dermot Gray has been cut.
Gray is breathing heavily.
Jones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gray defending well though.
Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joseph Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Gray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Gray.
Gray throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Gray throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gray sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones sizes up Gray with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gray throws a leg kick that is checked
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gray. That did some damage!
Jones lands a lovely overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters circling a little - Jones finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gray walks into a straight right hand from Jones.
Jones and Gray are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Jones throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Gray into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Jones knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Joseph Jones!
