The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Lokomotivo as Submitt shoots in.
Lokomotivo throws the left hand but Submitt avoids the punch easily.
Lokomotivo swings widly with a right hand
and Submitt counters by moving into the clinch.
Lokomotivo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Submitt ducks under a wild hook from Lokomotivo.
Submitt fails in his attempt to clinch.
Submitt moves out of range as Lokomotivo strikes.
Submitt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Submitt lands in his opponent's guard.
Submitt advances to half guard.
Lokomotivo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lokomotivo is refusing to be controlled, as Submitt sits in half guard.
Submitt wants to pass the guard but Lokomotivo is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lokomotivo wants to improve his position but Submitt is controlling well.
Submitt tries to pass to full mount but Lokomotivo defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Submitt is working for a submission of some sort.
Submitt is trying for a kimura here. Lokomotivo looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Submitt wins by kimura!
