The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alucard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Potts's guard.
Alucard wants to control from the top but Potts keeps moving.
Alucard forces his way into half guard.

Potts looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Alucard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Alucard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Potts's head.
Potts won't allow Alucard to pass to mount.
Alucard landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Potts is trying to maintain the position but Alucard is very close to passing his half guard.

Alucard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Potts has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Alucard. Oh but Potts has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Alucard goes limp - he's gone! Potts jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
