PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Divji Borec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bantou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Borec might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cannibal Corpse - I Will Kill You. Bantou has chosen Brownvillian as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bantou misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bantou looks to land a body kick but Borec moved away.
Bantou throws a head kick that misses.
Borec slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bantou pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bantou throws a leg kick but Borec moved away.
Bantou misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Bantou.
A punch lands to the side of Bantou 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A left and a right from Borec both land. Nice combination.
Bantou looks gassed!
Borec moves out of range of the leg kick from Bantou.

Borec shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Borec is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Borec content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Borec passes Bantou's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Borec is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Bantou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bantou is trying to stand up here but Borec is controlling him well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Borec lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Borec lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Borec takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Borec connects with a nice short shot to Bantou's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bantou is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Borec scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bantou is rocked!
Borec looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bantou with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bantou is still in real trouble! Can Borec finish him?
Borec lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bantou quite badly. Bantou pulls Borec in close trying to recover. Borec postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bantou on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bantou doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
