Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keast Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Demon Hunter - Collapsing . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Durden down.
Durden slips under a jab from Jones.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Durden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Durden clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.
Durden drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Durden avoids a wild elbow strike from Jones.
Durden blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Durden blocks it with crossed arms.

Durden has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Durden dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Durden thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Durden has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.

It looks like Mark Jones has been cut.
Jones is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Durden misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Durden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
