Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Marion finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Alexander uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marion has time to react.
Marion misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alexander lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marion swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alexander connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Marion takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Alexander has Marion up against the cage in a clinch.
Marion is trying to force a seperation but Alexander has the dominant position.
Marion is pressed up against the cage. Alexander has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Marion down to the mat. Marion avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Alexander ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alexander tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Marion manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Alexander is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A bone on bone clash there as Alexander blocks the leg kick.
Alexander steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marion.

A looping hook to the body misses from Marion. Alexander does a little dance to reset his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Alexander.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Marion is trying to control Alexander's posture but Alexander avoids it.

Alexander is looking to take a break and control but Marion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Alexander is not content to let Marion control the position.
Alexander takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Alexander is looking to reverse the position.
Marion looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Alexander is avoiding damage well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marion has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Alexander doesn't defend quickly enough and Marion has managed to lock this one up! Can Alexander escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Marion on a fantastic submission victory.
