Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Macgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jorgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macgregor comes to the cage accompanied by Dragonforce - operation ground and pound. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Jorgan!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgan ducks right into an uppercut from Macgregor.
Macgregor throws a hook to the side of Jorgan's head but Jorgan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jorgan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jorgan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jorgan wants it to stay on the feet.

and Macgregor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jorgan's guard.
Macgregor with a flurry of punches that miss.
Macgregor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jorgan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Macgregor's guard.

Macgregor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jorgan. Jorgan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jorgan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Macgregor's head backwards.
Jorgan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Macgregor shoots in looking for a takedown. Jorgan tries to sprawl out of it but Macgregor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jorgan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Macgregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
