Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ned Alonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Lipkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ned Alonso!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Lipkin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Lipkin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Alonso throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lipkin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alonso is in Lipkin's guard.

Lipkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Alonso defends it easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Alonso is looking for a sweep. Lipkin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lipkin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alonso's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alonso's back!

Alonso breaks Lipkin's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Alonso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Alonso drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lipkin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lipkin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lipkin!

Lipkin throws a low kick, looking for Alonso's leg but Alonso calmly moves out of range.

Lipkin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Alonso throws and elbow that misses. Lipkin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alonso's guard. Nice move by Lipkin!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I think Lipkin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
