Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gunner State (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). State kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blaze Of Glory by Bon Jovi. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
State closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakamura circles away.
State misses with a hook to the body

and Nakamura counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. State is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nakamura fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and State has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nakamura wants to slow State down by chopping away at his legs.

Ryo Nakamura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A head kick misses from Nakamura.
Nakamura does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nakamura.

State chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nakamura can pounce on him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Nakamura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ryo Nakamura is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

State closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nakamura's guard.
State is in close to Nakamura's body, working some short punches and elbows.
State missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gunner State.
I think Nakamura has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
