The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols scores with a head kick. The Impaler tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Vlad The Impaler has been cut.
The Impaler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nichols circles away.
Nichols takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nichols throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Impaler misses with a few strikes there.
A head kick misses from Nichols.
Nichols throws a front kick that sends The Impaler stumbling back into the cage.
The Impaler is breathing heavily.
Nichols scores with a push kick.
Nichols lands a high kick!
Nichols lands with a slapping head kick.
The Impaler drops his hands momentarily and Nichols needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips The Impaler just on the top of the head. The Impaler drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in The Impaler - he's done!
