Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Ragno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Pheonix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ragno's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The World is Mine. Pheonix has chosen World Is Not Enough as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aaron Pheonix was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximus Ragno!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Pheonix!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragno scores with a nice head shot.
Ragno tries to bum rush Pheonix with a series of wild strikes but Pheonix uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pheonix misses with the body kick
enabling Ragno to counter with a crisp jab.
Ragno throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Pheonix throws a sloppy head kick
and Ragno counters with a stiff right hand.
Pheonix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ragno lands a jab to Pheonix's midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Pheonix misses
and Ragno counters with a nice leg kick.
Ragno lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pheonix circles away quickly and effectively.
Ragno bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ragno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Pheonix slips a jab and a cross from Ragno.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pheonix throws a lazy head kick
and Ragno counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pheonix thinking.
Ragno lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pheonix looks gassed!
Pheonix blocks the body kick.
Ragno thows a leg kick but Pheonix checks it
and Pheonix counters with an outside leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Pheonix looks to throw a body kick
and Ragno counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ragno throws a low kick but Pheonix moves out of range easily.
Ragno fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pheonix has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pheonix slips a straight right by Ragno.
Ragno cracks Pheonix with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ragno scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pheonix checks a low kick from Ragno.
Pheonix throws a lazy body kick
and Ragno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pheonix is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ragno engages and cracks Pheonix with a massive lead left hook - Pheonix tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ragno is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Maximus Ragno!
