The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix is looking to land body kicks.
Matrix fails to land with a series of punches.
A shot to the body from Myton misses
and Matrix counters with a good low kick that Myton was not able to check.
Myton thows a body shot but no joy.
A thudding body kick lands there by Matrix!
Myton misses with an uppercut
letting Matrix counter with a right hand.

Myton blocks a head kick by Matrix.

A punch lands to the side of Matrix 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Myton ducks under a wild hook from Matrix.
Cedric Myton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Myton thows a body shot but no joy.
Matrix thows a left - swing and a miss!
Matrix connects with an inside leg kick.
Matrix misses with an uppercut
and Myton counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Matrix throws a leg kick that is checked
and Myton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Myton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matrix manages to avoid it.
Myton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Matrix shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Myton is trying to maintain the position but Matrix is very close to passing his half guard.
Matrix works his way into full mount!

Myton is desperately trying to improve his position but Matrix has a good base and remains in mount.
Myton tries to hold on but Matrix postures up.
Matrix throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Myton because Matrix loaded up on that one.
Myton wants to hold on but Matrix pushes him away.
Matrix punching from mount but Myton doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Myton is looking to get to half guard.
Myton tries to hold on but Matrix postures up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Matrix landing strikes from the mount.

It looks like Cedric Myton has been cut.
Matrix is landing with some decent strikes but Myton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up Cedric Myton's cut even more.
Myton wants to hold on but Matrix pushes him away.
Matrix looking to control but Myton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Matrix connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
