Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Markus Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Robbins!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robbins tries to avoid it but Mac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robbins to the ground. Robbins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mac shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robbins pinned against the cage. Robbins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mac drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


It looks like Markus Mac has been cut.
Robbins misses the shot to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Robbins misses with an uppercut.
Mac on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mac scores with the left hand. Robbins knows he should have avoided that one.

Mac pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Robbins looks to land a right hand but Mac moved out of range.
Mac wants to clinch up but Robbins keeps it at a distance.
Mac tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robbins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mac misses with a low kick.
Robbins throws a lazy right hand but Mac sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mac is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Robbins.
Robbins's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mac under the eye.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Robbins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mac moves away.
Mac loads up on a big right hand but Robbins slips the punch.

Robbins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mac's head backwards.

and Mac decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Robbins's guard.

Mac wants to control from the top but Robbins keeps moving.
Robbins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Robbins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Robbins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Robbins stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mac shoots in looking for a takedown but Robbins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mac's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mac takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mac takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Robbins counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mac thinking.

Mac is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Robbins's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Mac shoots in looking for a takedown. Robbins tries to sprawl out of it but Mac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robbins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Robbins circles away.

Mark Robbins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mac throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Robbins looks to land a combination but Mac avoids it well.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robbins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Markus Mac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Robbins counters with a three punch combo that has Mac backing up. Mac nods at Robbins to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Robbins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mark Robbins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Robbins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
