PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rice Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weddle comes to the cage accompanied by remember the name - fort minor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weddle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boyd's head backwards.
Weddle leaves Boyd with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Weddle has managed to clinch.

Weddle has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Boyd clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Boyd closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
